The Year of Living Dangerously

I'm not making resolutions, because honestly, I'm gonna do what I'm gonna do, I'm not gonna do what I'm not gonna do. So I guess I intend to begin 2010 as I mean to go on… or I mean to go on as I already was… or something.

I've signed up for a writer's conference in April - my first. I plan to work my butt off getting my manuscript polished before that. I'm following several writers' blogs now, and a couple of the multiply published ones (Scott Westerfeld and Laurie Halse Anderson) have been handing out writing advice like candy. Gotta love that!

Paul has been very much under-employed for 10 months. He's got his own plans for the year, and frankly they go in too many possible directions to call it. Life is sometimes made of decisions that look more like throwing darts, rather than being decisive. I'll wait to make any announcements/pronouncements until one emerges as the grand prize winner.

Okay, 2010, let's see whatcha got…
